NP/PA: Our mid-level provider roles are a critical part of the team’s success. Working alongside the Emergency Medicine physician, nurse, and technicians, you can contribute to our best practice patient care environment. EPPA physicians lead teams throughout the Twin Cities area at six different locations.
Scribes: In order to facilitate smooth transitions, improve patient safety, and decrease long waits, our scribes support the Emergency Medicine Physicians throughout their shift by entering patient orders and information in the electronic health record and communicating to team members and patients. Typically, our scribes are first and second year medical students or pre-med students. Currently, scribes are part of Emergency Medicine teams at most EPPA locations.
Business Services: Our business services personnel contribute a consistent, best practice process for coding, collections, and billing of emergency room and urgent care visits. Professional certifications and experience are important aspects of our high quality team. The EPPA corporate offices are in Minnetonka, MN. This practice-owned office is specifically designed with our business services in mind.
